Shortly after the launch of the new gmt-p1 weighing display, there were many doubts about its weight free calibration. In order to help customers better calibrate the transmission instrument, Xiaoman and our engineers comprehensively explained the calibration method of the new gmt-p1 weighing instrument in this video.
Calibration method of hard core dry goods gmt-p1 weighing display
There are two main calibration methods for gmt-p1 weighing display:
1) Calibration with weight
2) No weight calibration (2.1 historical data calibration 2.2 theoretical value calibration)
Equipment used for this calibration:
1) 20kg sensor
2) Weights with three ranges of 1kg, 200g and 100g
3) Gmt-p1 weighing display

1、 Calibration with weight
Here we will first explain the calibration of weights:
1. Press the mode key to enter cal, enter the password, select the decimal point, division value and maximum range, and then come to the millivolt interface:
2. If the value displayed here is not MV but ofl, please refer to ofl troubleshooting Video:
3. Press again to confirm, and we will enter the zero calibration with weight. At this time, there is only one reason for the failure of zero calibration: the sensor signal (scale body) is unstable and cannot be calibrated
4. After it is stable, we should first record its value (this value can be used for weightless calibration later); Then press enter, the instrument will automatically record the current millivolt value as zero and enter the weighted gain calibration.
Calibration method of gmt-p1 weighing display with weight calibration
There are three steps to calibrate the weight gain: load the weight, confirm the millivolt of the gain, and input the weight of the weight.
A. Put the weight on the scale platform;
B. After recording the value of gain millivolts, press enter to enter the gain weight interface;
C. Similarly, after recording the gain weight value, press enter to complete the gain calibration:
At this time, press ESC twice to skip the remote calibration switch and calibration password respectively, and then exit the calibration and enter the weighing interface:
Calibration method of gmt-p1 weighing display without weight
The above is the calibration with weights. If the field equipment is inconvenient to load weights, or needs rapid calibration and does not require high calibration accuracy, or needs to replace or repair the instrument without changing the sensor, we can carry out weightless calibration from the three historical values (zero millivolt, gain millivolt and gain weight) obtained above.
